Harvey Beef - Western Australia    Back to Top

Harvey Beef is a major exporter of West Australian beef to the USA and Japan. Western Global provided redevelopment and upgrading of the existing beef slaughter floor, developing concepts, detail design, project management and site supervision on the clients behalf. We also project  managed the civil and drainage works, structural building modifications, mechanical design services, hydraulics and pneumatics, development of operational logic, PLC controlled remote viewing operation. The plant has a capacity of 85 per hour with indexed operation (‘walking beam” principle). The carcass is delivered to the operator who works off a hydraulic platform to position the operator whilst the carcass is stopped or alternatively the carcass is lowered to suit the operator.
